Hi, hey, hello! My name is Tabby, though most people call me Tabs.

I guess you can say that I am the morbid mind behind the strange & unusual that is Thorn & Tome.

Thorn & Tome grew from a lifelong love of the strange and magical, shaped by a childhood with a witchy woman for a mother and a metalhead for a father. Surrounded by the unusual from an early age, I learned to find beauty in the forgotten, the peculiar, and anything that lived outside the ordinary.

As a mother of two boys who share that same fascination, I spent years dreaming, collecting, and planning a space of my own for fellow lovers of the curious and unconventional. Though life often delayed the journey, I never let go of the dream—and now Thorn & Tome has finally come to life.

Thorn & Tome is more than a shop—it’s a home for the curious, the witchy, the gothic, the collectors, the wanderers, and anyone who finds comfort in the unconventional. Here you’ll find curated oddities, curiosities, botanicals, relics, and treasures chosen for those who walk a different path.

My hope is that Thorn & Tome becomes something I can one day pass down, handing the lantern to the next generation and keeping the curious and unusual alive for years to come.
